If I had a dollar for every time I heard that, I’d probably never have to buy another Swig drink again.
Life gets busy.
Schedules fill up.
Kids have sports.
Work gets hectic.
Someone has a growth spurt.
Someone loses a tooth.
Someone decides they suddenly hate having their picture taken.
And before you know it…
Another year has gone by.
As a mom myself, I completely understand. There are weeks when I’m just trying to keep everyone fed, get the laundry folded, and remember which water bottle belongs to which kid.
But here’s something I remind myself often:
We’re never going to get this exact version of our family back.
Not next month.
Not next year.
Not ever.
That’s why I believe family photos are one of the greatest investments you’ll ever make.

Sometimes I catch myself looking at my boys and wondering…
“When did they get so big?”

Right now my house is full of monster trucks, construction vehicles, dirty little shoes, and endless imagination.
I know someday I’ll miss every bit of it.
